Michigan State University offers a Master of Science degree in forensic science. It is a 38 semester hour program that is divided into three concentrations: Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Biology, and Forensic Anthropology.
Applicants to the program must have an undergraduate major appropriate to the concentration sought. These would include: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering (Forensic Chemistry); Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics (Forensic Biology); and Anthropology with an emphasis in Physical Anthropology (Forensic Anthropology).
