Kansas City Kansas Community College offers an Associate in Arts in Forensic Chemistry and an Associate in General Studies Forensic Chemistry. The program is intended for students interested in careers as criminalists and/or crime scene investigators. The AGS degree prepares students for the first two years of a BS in chemistry or biology, with electives in criminal justice and forensics. The AA degree provides an initial degree for entry into crime scene investigations, or an introduction to a BA in chemistry or biology.
